is an EAP? |
An
EAP gives you and your family members easy, free, and
confidential access to professional counseling and
referrals to community resources. The EAP is
accessible 24 hours per day and is staffed by
qualified counselors throughout most communities. |

does it cost? |
The counseling and referral services are free.
There are no deductibles or cost sharing for these
services. Your employer pays all the costs associated
with EAP services. |

What
can I expect when I call? |
You will talk to a BPA Care Coordinator who will
collect background information about you (for example,
your employer, your address). The Care Coordinator
will ask you several questions about your needs to
make a referral to an EAP counselor or to a community
resource. The Care Coordinator may help you make the
first contact with the counselor and arrange the first
appointment. |

Any information you share, and even your use of EAP
services, is confidential. |
